Hurricane Gustav: I picked the wrong day to quit sniffing glue

Aug 27th, 2008 | By Ara Rubyan | Category: Hurricanes, Lead Article, Louisiana

Here we go again.

Long time readers know that I live in Baton Rouge and have lived through Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. So this isn’t exactly a new experience for us down here. Also, I work in the emergency management industry. So I get a front-row seat for this sort of thing.

In other words, I’m in a bunker at an undisclosed location and will be for the immediate, foreseeable future.

I’ll keep y’all posted.

In the meantime, Mark and Shep will be posting about the usual stuff — specifically the conventions and everything else.
