Only in Sarah Palin’s mind does a unanimous finding by Eight Republicans and Four Democrats that she abused the power of her office in the best neo-con tradition of petty retribution constitute a partisan witch hunt by Obama supporters.

Palin’s folks had this committee wired. She’s truly a frivolous distraction who is more suited to replacing Vana White than pretending shes worthy of high office.
The headlines capture the main point: Sarah Palin abused the power (and violated the trust) given to her by the voters of Alaska. Reformer? Not.
There’s been a lot of talk about Palin being the frontrunner for 2012 (assuming McCain loses). But first, she has to win re-election in Alaska and I wonder how this affects her favorability rating there.
Bottom line: McCain gambled and lost — big time — by picking Palin.
