Fifty-three percent of American voters voted for Barack Obama; 46% voted for John McCain, and 1% voted for wackos. Give that 1% to President Obama. Let’s say the vote was 54% to 46%. As a way to bring the country together and at the same time determine the most effective way to deal with recessions, under the Obama-Limbaugh Stimulus Plan of 2009: 54% of the $900 billion — $486 billion — will be spent on infrastructure and pork as defined by Mr. Obama and the Democrats; 46% — $414 billion — will be directed toward tax cuts, as determined by me.
While you’re at it, why not make John McCain Vice President? After all, he’s the one who got 46% of the vote, right? Oh wait — that’s unconstitutional. We tried it and it didn’t work.
And we tried this — tax cuts for the rich — and it didn’t work either.
Face the facts: elections have consequences.
You run, you lose, you sit down, you shut up, OK? OK.
Besides, the bill that passed the House had, I understand, 33% in tax cuts (for middle class wage earners). So Limbaugh is telling me that the deal breaker is that extra 13% — and who it goes to.
…$414 billion — will be directed toward tax cuts, as determined by me.
Or rather, “…as directed to me.” To Limbaugh and his billionaire bonus babies, no doubt.
Rush: we already tried it your way. You wrecked the economy. Then we had an election. And guess what? You lost — badly. So sit down and shut up, OK?
