Gulf Oil Spill (PHOTOS): Horrifying Aerial Images Of Oil Reaching Louisiana Marshes
Our friend, Jeffrey Dubinsky, captured these heartbreakingly beautiful pics during a flyover of Redfish Bay (see below) in Louisiana’s bird’s foot delta on May 27.
You can also see the pics on the website for The Gulf Restoration Network.
You can clearly see that the containment booms aren’t holding back the oil and that the oil is washing into the Louisiana marsh.
If this continues, eventually the oil will kill the marsh ecosystem and the supporting land will disappear into the Gulf. Besides destroying the habitat for marine and animal life, it will leave Louisiana more vulnerable to oncoming hurricanes.

[...] So, OK, you’re Obama: How do you finally take this away from BP, a company that simply cares about cutting its expenses and increasing its revenues and pleasing its shareholders — and the fishermen of Redfish Bay be damned? [...]
Just heartbreaking, Ara. I’m thousands of miles away and I still can’t watch it.
And the worst part is that it’s still pouring out of the ocean floor with no prospects for stopping any time soon.
The Federal Goverment is not Responsible for stopping the leak but the containment that were they have failed maybe many of you dont remember the Exxon Valdez , I do i have not see the super tankers with the Pump Boats and the Oil/Water separators, nothing where are they at I forgot Obama used the money set for oil disasters back in 1992 for some bail out or to give it to some project, There is a point were we have to make life or death decission a point where there is no time for thinking or make a stop to analyze anything This was one of those moments we all know how devastating oil is to the ocean, instead of sending attorneys Obamas respoability was to contain the oil and not to let it get out of had that was his job but he did sent help in form of a burocrat with Supinas and law suits!!!
